-Lisa RRT 3 years ago | 3 years agoTrilogy oxygen issues Having issues with the oxygen elbow on this vent. At a higher flow rate (5lpm) there is a air leak sound coming from behind. When the elbow is repositioned and the sound stops the oxygen concentrator high pressure alarm sounds. Unsure of the amount of O2 getting to the patient so, I had to use a pressure line adaptor in front of the bacteria filer in the circuit. This should not be happening, the Trilogy manual states it is capable of 15 lpm flow rate. Also, tried 2 elbows and switched out the vent with back up vent. In addition, I hooked the patient up to a cylinder at 5 lpm and the sound was still present. Anything else I should be looking at? Reply |
